Kommuri Pratap Reddy Institute of Technology is an autonomous institution widely recognized as KPRIT. KPRIT Hyderabad has received ‘A’ grade by NAAC. KPRIT CSE and ECE departments has been accredited by NBA. It was established in 2008 in Hyderabad by Shri Kommuri Pratap Reddy. KPRIT Hyderabad is affiliated to JNTU Hyderabad and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. KPRIT Hyderabad campus is spread over 22 acres of land in Hyderabad- Warangal Highway. KPRIT Hyderabad infrastructure and amenities for sports and other recreational facilities are excellent. KPRIT Hyderabad facilities include wi-fi enabled infrastructure, well-ventilated classrooms, laboratories, a library, an auditorium, and a gymnasium to name a few.

KPRIT Hyderabad courses are offered at the undergraduate level. KPRIT Hyderabad B.Tech course is offered under various specialisations, namely computer science and engineering, CSE artificial intelligence and machine learning, CSE data science, electronics and communication engineering, and civil engineering. KPRIT Hyderabad admissions are done on the basis of TS EAMCET for admissions, and TS ECET is considered for B.Tech lateral entry admissions.

KPRIT Hyderabad has started a SEED program that focuses on training students in technical and interpersonal skills from their first year onwards. As compared to the KPRIT Hyderabad placement report for the year 2020, the total number of students placed increased by 53 in the KPRIT Hyderabad placement report 2021 to 167.
