Selection Process

The provisionally selected candidates (either through the entrance test or through the marks of the qualifying examination) will be called in for a personal interview by the university.
The admission of any candidate who fails to appear for the interview will automatically be canceled.
Admission into the various courses will be based on merit and personal interview.
Once admitted into the course, the candidates and their parents will have to follow certain procedures – sign declarations, pay the fees, and submit all the necessary documents/certificates, after meeting their concerned Head of Department.
The original documents submitted at the time of admission will only be returned at the time of graduation, so make sure to take plenty of copies of those documents.
It should also be noted that the fees paid will not be refunded at any point.
If anyone decides to discontinue after admission, the student is liable to pay the fee for the entire course.
Any candidates with a qualifying examination other than the HSE conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu should then obtain an Eligibility certificate from the Vels University by remitting the prearranged fee along with the application form.
