The university offers admission to its programmes on the basis of the Subharti National Eligibility Test (SNET) score and merit of the last qualifying examination. Swami Vivekanand Subharti University admission to PG, M.Phil., and Ph.D courses are done based on SNET score. However for M.Lib.I.Sc admission, the SVSU Meerut also considers undergraduate degree scores.
For admission in the B.Lib.I.Sc programme, the Swami Vivekanand Subharti University, Meerut accepts SNET scores and bachelor’s degree scores as well. Meritorious Scholarship:
Swami Vivekanand Subharti University is announcing Meritorious Scholarship for Academic year 2023-24 to ensure continuous motivation for meritorious students with zeal to excel and serve the nation and are not getting any other scholarship/financial assistance from any government / private agencies.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor is pleased to announce Program-wise Scholarship percentage on Annual Course Fee. However, calculation of scholarship amount will be based on following pre-conditions after due recommendations of Principal/HOI.
i. The scholarship shall be applicable only for those who are not availing any other scholarship from any Government/ Private/Non-Govt. organization.
ii. Only one type of scholarship, whichever is higher, will be permitted even if a student is eligible to apply for more than one scholarship as announced by the University.
iii. The scholarship shall be applicable only for the current academic year provided he/she submits full applicable fee within stipulated period and applies for scholarship on Scholarship “Format – I” within two months from the last date of admission as declared by the University.
iv. Percentage of marks used for Scholarship Criteria shall be the same as used for eligibility for admission.
v. Scholarship, if granted, will be given through a banking channel. The disbursement of scholarship amount will be only after submission of complete academic year fee, i.e. fee deposition of both the semester.
vi. 100% scholarship on Annual course fee and Caution Money shall be provided to children of a martyr of Indian Defence Services including Indian Coast Guard (Except for Medical, Dental, Nursing and Ph.D. courses).
vii. In addition to the meritorious scholarship family of faculty and staff is entitled for scholarship, as per university existing rule.
viii. In case of withdrawal of admission before completion of the course, the scholarship, if granted, will be taken back.
UP Scholarship Policy:
Department of Social Justice Samaj Kalyan Vibhag has announced the Students whose Parents should have their annual income must be below 2.00 Lakhs and who are Backward Class of Sc/ST/OBC Category all are eligible to apply for UP Online Scholarship. Facilities
To provide students with a comfortable environment at the campus, the university has the latest facilities and infrastructure. Separate hostels for boys and girls students, a well-stocked library, gym, hygienic cafeteria etc. are some of the Swami Vivekanand Subharti University facilities offered to the students and staff members. The university has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Since the university has both academic and non-academic facilities, it helps in the overall growth of the students. Boys Hostel
For boys students, the university has 8 hostels located within the campus. Swami Vivekanand Subharti University hostel facilities are indoor games like table tennis, carrom board, study room, wifi etc. Students are provided lunch, breakfast and dinner at the vegetarian mess.
Girls Hostel
The varsity has 8 girls hostels at the campus. The hostels have facilities like 24*7 water supply, wifi connectivity, indoor games, study room etc. A hygienic mess is also there, where food is prepared for the hostlers. The hostels are managed by wardens.
Medical/Hospital
A dental hospital and a medical hospital are available at the campus. Both the hospitals have modern equipment. The university also has an ambulance available 24*7 for emergencies.
Gym
SVSU Meerut has two gyms. One is dedicated to boys students and the other is for girls students. Each gym has a professional coach to guide students.
Library
The varsity has a centrally air-conditioned library with over 25,000 books, 250 national, 150 international and 400 e-journals for students and faculty members. The library also has internet access, a projector room, seminar room and a reading room. The university library also has a coffee cafe in conjugation with the library.
Sports
SVSU Meerut sports facilities include an Olympic size outdoor stadium for outdoor sports. The stadium has a 400 meters athletic track, cricket ground, football ground, hockey field etc. The university also has indoor badminton courts, a table tennis room and a boxing arena. Students can play these sports during their free time to refresh their minds.
I.T Infrastructure
The university has internet access, wifi connectivity and computer labs with modern systems. All the computers in the university have the latest software and hardware.
Cafeteria
The university campus has six canteens out of which one is dedicated for girls students. The canteens offer multi cuisines to students and staff members. For snacks and beverages, Swami Vivekanand Subharti University has three dedicated canteens. Hygiene is maintained in all the university canteens.
Auditorium
Mangalya, the university auditorium has a seating capacity of 3000 people. The auditorium is equipped with the latest technology. It is spread over an area of 50 acres. Apart from this, the campus has two more auditoriums which can accommodate around 500 people each. The varsity also has two multipurpose halls, seminar halls for conducting seminars, workshops, etc.
Transport Facility
The university offers transportation facilities to the students and staff members. The university offers drop and pickup facilities from various locations of the city.

The alumni of the university stay connected through the alumni association of the university. From time to time, alumni meets are organised by the Swami Vivekanand Subharti University alumni association.

Swami Vivekanand Subharti University’s entire campus has wifi connectivity. Students and faculty members can use the internet easily on their mobile phones or tablets. The wifi is available in hostels as well.
Banks/ATMs
SVSU Meerut has three banks at the campus – Â Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank and ICICI Bank. Both students and faculty members can make use of the bank facilities. The university has ATMs of various banks.
