KIET Group of Institutions was established in the year 1998 in Ghaziabad. The college is a private institution approved by AICTE and affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow. It is recognized by NBA and accredited with Grade A+ by NAAC. KIET Centre for Industrial Testing & Field Research (KCITFR) has a NABL-accredited lab in the field of testing for a period of two years. The institute is recognized by SIRO (Scientific and Industrial Research Organization). The institute holds a 4–star rating in IIC Annual performance in 2020-2021.
