Prestige Education Society in its endeavor to develop highly skilled human resource established the first management institute in Indore in 1994. the management institutes of Gwalior and Mandsaur were established in 1997. In 2001 with AICTE permission, the Institute of Mandsaur was shifted to Dewas at its permanent site for better service, coverage and local penetration.

Prestige Institute of Management Dewas (PIMD) is conceived as a value-based Institution of management and information technology and training. The Institute was launched with the solemn objective of spreading the knowledge based education and develop skilled manpowers beyond the metros, catering to the educational and training needs of large number of young boys and girls irrespective of cast, creed and nationality they belong to.

The uniqueness of the Institute lies in its provision of on-job training, semester pattern of university examinations, minor/major projects, industrial visits, interactive sessions, training, building cultural values and development of effective overall personalities.

• Library

  PIMD has a well-equipped library with more than 10036 books and reports on various subjects. The Institute subscribes to 78 management and computer journals and 19 magazines.

• Sports

  PIMD sports facilities include indoor and outdoor games like Basketball, Cricket, Volleyball, Kho-Kho and many more.

• I.T Infrastructure

  PIMD Computer Laboratory has been well equipped with 180 terminals, which include Pentium IV. Apart from the requirements of the curriculum, the Institute also has one leased line connection of 4Mbps internet facility to facilitate the students, faculty, and management for better networking and skills enhancement.

• Auditorium

  Prestige Institute of Management Dewas has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

• Wifi

  PIMD has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff. The Institute campus has Wi-fi connectivity which provides internet access points, the students are able to browse subject-related texts on their laptops.

• Laboratories

  The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. In the computer lab, each computer is well equipped with various applications namely office automation applications, Data Base Management Applications, Graphics and multimedia Applications, Programming languages, and Client Server Applications. The operating platforms being used are Unix, Windows 7, Windows 2000 server, Windows 2000 Professional and UBUNTU.

• The Training and Placement Cell invited the companies for the placement drives.

• The companies conduct Pre Placement Talks at the Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, Pune.

• Student’s resumes are sent to the recruiters and the preliminary stage shortlisting of candidates

• The group discussions and personal interview rounds are conducted by the company.

• A list of selected students will be sent to the Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, Pune training and placement cell.
