The modes of RIMT University course admissions 2023 are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exams and merit. The college also offers Agriculture, Applied Sciences, Architecture, Art & Design, BioSciences, Commerce, Computer Application, Computer Science, Education, Engineering & Technology, Hospitality Management, Humanities, ITI, Journalism, Legal Studies, Management Studies, Nursing, Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Physical & Sports Sciences, and Ayurveda.
RIMT University Admission 2023
The Shri Om Parkash Bansal Educational and Social Welfare Trust founded RIMT University in Punjab in 1998. It is situated in the Punjabi town of Gobindgarh. RIMT University has several schools that offer various UG, PG, and Research level programmes in science, commerce, arts, law, computer science, paramedics, management, journalism, and other fields. Candidates must complete and sign the Admission Form in their own handwriting. The application form must also be signed by the applicant’s father or guardian. Admission to Ph.D. programmes in various disciplines will be based on UGC guidelines. Before the entrance exam, the number of seats for each discipline/school will be announced.
Candidates applying under the Physically Handicapped/Disabled quota must have at least 40% disability in order to be eligible to apply. Candidates for B.Tech, BCA, and MCA are chosen through LEET counselling, whereas GATE entrance exam scores are used for M.Tech.
Admission to B.Arch is based on NATA/JEE Main scores. The University’s Entrance Test is used to determine admission to M.Phil. and Ph.D. programmes. Admission to the remaining courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Only candidates who can present original certificates/testimonials/documents at the time of counselling will be eligible to enrol in the desired programme.
When selecting candidates, preference will be given to students who have taken a test administered by a national governing body, i.e. those with a valid CET score/rank.
Candidates who are older in age will be ranked higher in the order of merit. This applies if there is a tie in merit during the selection process. Reservation is provided in accordance with the Central Government’s guidelines.

RIMT University Professional Placement Plan
Credited towards a RIMT degree, PPP offers a work placement for a minimum of days per week for a few weeks during the semester or an equivalent number of hours over the summer vacation programmes.
Enrollment into the programme or unit of study is selective and only those students who successfully proceed through the selection process are considered for placements. The selection criteria on which all assessment tasks are based are acumen, teamwork and leadership, communication, and critical thinking. Students are responsible for their own degree progression and must ensure they have sufficient room in their degree or permission to overload. Undergraduate students must be able to provide evidence of a credit average or above. Postgraduate students must be able to provide evidence of a credit average or above. The Professional Placement Plan falls across various categories, including
