Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University, Jaipur was established in 2008 under the Rajasthan State Legislature Act 17. The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University is India’s First Private State Women’s University. It is recognized by UGC and accredited by NAAC. The university has more than 30,000 enrollments. It offers 120+ academic programs. The university provides admission to regular, distance and research courses. Regular programs are offered for women only and distance education programs are available for men and women both. It has a student-faculty ratio of 1:9. JVWU provides more than 132 courses at UG, PG and other levels. JVWU course admission is subject to merit in the last qualifying exam or entrance accepted across different courses. Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU) offers more than 120 academic programs in English and Hindi medium. The college offers courses in various streams such as Arts, Science, and Commerce at Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph.D. levels. The university also offers several Diploma courses with UG and PG combinations for a duration of 2 years to 7 years. Admission at JVWU Jaipur is entrance-based for most of the courses. However, the university also provides direct admission based on merit in previous qualifying examinations. Details have been given below:
- Admission to BA, B.Com, B.Voc, B.Sc, BCA, B.Tech, B.Des, LLB, MA, M.Sc, etc is based on JNEE. However, the university considers other entrance examinations too.
- M.Tech admission depends upon scores in JNEE or GATE along with scores in BE/B.Tech.

Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University application process is conducted online and offline. Admission to Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU) Jaipur can be taken through management quota, merit in national and state level examinations, merit in university entrance examination, and merit in previous qualifying exams (direct admission). Subsidy: Students may easily avail financial aid/Subsidy from Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University on the basis of their Academic Performance. On the Basis of % in Last Qualifying Examination, Subsidy would be deposited directly in the Student’s University Account by University Management.
Note: Students below 55% are not eligible to avail any subsidy. They have to pay the Main fee as per their program. University Provides additional financial aid of 10% of Tuition Fee in the first year to those students who will confirm their sister’s admission in the University.
Fellowships: On the basis of aggregate %, in particular, Academic Year, Fellowship will be awarded to the Meritorious students of the University from any discipline as per below-mentioned criteria: Fellowship of 10% of Tuition fee to the Students who wish to continue their higher studies in JVWU
