Under the aegis of the Birla Academy of Art & Culture and supported by Birla Group of Companies, Birla Institute of Management Technology (also known as BIMTECH) came into existence in 1988 and is located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It is ranked 48 under the ‘Management’ category by the NIRF 2023. It is accredited with ‘A+’ Grade by the NAAC. It has several accreditations and recognitions from eminent bodies, including NBA, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Life Office Management Association (LOMA) and Business School of Impact System (BSIS). The institute is approved by the AICTE and is a member of the AIU. BIMTECH also facilitates student exchange programme in various countries such as Austria, Australia, Poland, Finland and France among others. BIMTECH has a great network of more than 6,600 alumni who organises several events round the year such as annual alumni meet, story-telling sessions and webinars, among others.

Courses & Fees

BIMTECH is one of the reputed management institutes in India. BIMTECH is ranked at 48th position by NIRF under the management category for the year 2023. BIMTECH offers admission to a 2-year full-time PGDM course as its flagship program. It is approved by AICTE and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Also, BIMTECH is accredited by the US-based international accrediting body, the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), considered the gold standard in management education. The institute also joins the Ivy League of globally recognized top B-schools. Additionally, BIMTECH is the first Indian B-school to receive the BSIS (Business School Impact System) label from EFMD, Brussels.

Ranking Highlights

BIMTECH Scholarships are available for meritorious students. BIMTECH offers scholarships based on merit in entrance examinations, academic performance during the programme, and analysis of thesis work submitted. BIMTECH is providing 10 scholarships offering INR 2,00,000 to each student who is admitted under the Supernumerary category from SAAC countries only. Some scholarships at BIMTECH are available for female candidates only.

• BIMTECH Scholarships are offered to candidates scoring at least 85% in CAT/XAT/GMAT examinations.

• Boys Hostel

  BIMTECH Noida boys hostel facility is available both on-campus and off-campus. The hostel rooms are very spacious and provide comfortable accommodation to outstation students.

• Girls Hostel

  The college also provides hostel facilities for girls. The hostels are equipped with all basic amenities like uninterrupted supply for water, electricity, furniture, appliances, etc.

• Medical/Hospital

  The BIMTECH Noida medical clinic is 24X7 on service along with an ambulance facility. The medical clinic also has a senior doctor and provides free medical treatment to the students and staff members.

• Library

  The college library is a two-floored building and is well-ventilated. Birla Institute of Management Technology Noida library facilities include textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, etc.

According to the official placement report, the institute has concluded its placement drive of 2023 with a 100% placement rate. The highest package offered during BIMTECH placements in 2023 was INR 23.43 LPA. Further, the average package offered to the top 10% of students during BIMTECH placements in 2023 stood at INR 15.86 LPA. Over 92 organizations participated in the recruitment drive and placed students across various sectors like Consultancy, Financial Services, FMCG/FMCD, Insurance, etc. The top recruiters of Birla Institute of Management Technology in 2023 included  Wipro, ADP, E&Y, Deloitte, Panasonic, etc. Apart from this, according to BIMTECH NIRF report 2023, the median package offered during BIMTECH MBA placements 2022 stood at INR 10.50 LPA whereas the median package offered in 2021 and 2020 stood at INR 8.5 LPA and INR 8 LPA, respectively.
