Established in 2011 under the provisions of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) Act-2011 (Act no. 43 of 2011), ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh is one of the 11 sponsored universities. ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh Admissions 2024: ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh offers admission to diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different disciplines. ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh admission is basically merit-based and for some courses, it is entrance-based. ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh BTech admission is offered based on JEE Main or HPCET scores followed by personal interview. ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh MBA admission is offered based on the candidates’ performance CMAT followed by a personal interview. ICFAI University, Himachal Pradesh admission to remaining UG and PG courses is done on the basis of merit of previous qualifying exam followed by a personal interview at the campus. Laboratories

The University has the following Workshops & Laboratories for the Engineering students at the Faculty of Science & Technology. Physics Lab, Electronics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Electrical machines Lab, Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics Labs, Robotics Lab, Mechanical Engineering workshops.
Auditorium

The university has an auditorium, with the latest audio & visual facilities, with a seating capacity of about 500 people, at a time. Students may participate in seminars on management/information technology topics and make presentations of the same in class. These are done under the guidance of the faculty and will hone the reading, summarizing, and presentation skills of the students apart from inculcating the reading habit in students.
Sports

The University provides Sports facilities provided for the students including outdoor sports like shuttle badminton, cricket, etc, and indoor games like Table Tennis, Chess, Carom Board, etc.
Library

The University has a well-stocked library and is being augmented regularly with books, periodicals, journals, magazines, and other publications. Students have access to the finest collection of contemporary books, journals, and electronic publications, which supplement the prescribed reference books and textbooks. The resources existing at the central library provide opportunities to gain significant appreciation and understanding of management and information technology subjects that go beyond classroom learning.
I.T Infrastructure

The University has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The University is provided with the necessary latest hardware and software infrastructure to cater to the computing needs of all students and faculty and the training needs of information technology-related courses. It is equipped with servers and multiple terminals with multiple operating systems enabling a client-server environment. Internet connectivity is provided to the students to help them in their continuous search for knowledge with the help of world-wide-web.

The University has established an Alumni Society. All students are required to seek membership in society. The provisional membership in the alumni body entitles the students to participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, and local chapter activities organized by the society.

Placements

The students receive world-class training from an array of mentors, who guide them through every step during the placement process. In tandem with the numerous industrial collaborations, the in-house placement cell ensures that the graduating batches here are on the receiving end of ample career opportunities. Students are trained in the skills in their respective domains. Still, they are also provided with exposure and insights into how they can successfully clear the assessment procedures set in place by recruiters.

The highest salary package offered for the last batch is Rs. 5.60 lakhs per annum, this university has witnessed a continuous shattering of existing records, which can be chalked down to the placement cell’s efforts and the skill-oriented curriculum followed here. During its campus placement events, numerous companies such as Tech Mahindra, Paytm, DMart, CS Soft Solutions and more visit the campus to scout for talent. The placement cell also conducts various workshops, seminars, field visits, guest lectures and more to provide the students with some experience. It regularly updates them on the requirements of the current job market.
