Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), Bhubaneswar offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. Eligible students can apply for admission by filling the SOA University application form. Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan course admissions are entrance-based. Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan admission to the courses is based on the students’ performance in Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhaan Admission Test (SAAT) conducted by the university. The entrance test SAAT is being conducted for different courses offered in constituent institutes/schools of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan. The national level entrance exam scores of JEE Main/NEET/CLAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/NEET PG/GATE/NEET MDS/NEET SS are also considered for admission to different courses.

• Students will receive the acknowledgement on their email ID/mobile number after the successful submission of the application form.

• After submitting the application form, candidates will receive a email regarding the submission of the application form.

Scholarships & Funding

• Boys Hostel

  The university has accommodation facilities for the boys’ students. Necessary facilities such as water coolers, geysers, a table and a chair, a cupboard and others are available for the students.

• Girls Hostel

  Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan provides separate hostels for girls students. Recreational facilities are available for all hostel students. Wardens are also available to take care of the hostel students.

• Medical/Hospital

  The university has a health centre to cater to the medical needs of the students. A first-aid kit is also available for any kind of injury or emergency.

• Gym

  The university has a gym inside the premises with the necessary equipment that can be used by the students to do some physical exercise and stay physically fit.

• Library

  SOA Bhubaneswar facilities also include a library that has a large collection of textbooks and reference books. Students also have access to online resources such as e-books, e-journals and many more.

• Sports

  Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available for the students. Games such as basketball, football, volleyball, cricket, badminton and carrom are available for the students. They can play the games of their choice.

• I.T Infrastructure

  SOA facilities also include a well-maintained IT infrastructure that has computer systems equipped with the latest software and hardware. Internet facility is provided to the students and faculty members for free. Students can visit the laboratories to have some practical exposure.

• Cafeteria

  The university has a cafeteria that serves healthy and nutritious food to the students, staff and faculty members at a reasonable price.

• Auditorium

  Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan has a spacious auditorium that can be used for organising events, seminars, functions and conferences.

• Transport Facility

  Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan provides transport facilities to the dayscholars. Buses ply to all the nearby locations within the city.

• Guest Room/Waiting Room

  The university has a guest room for visiting guests, lecturers, students family members or alumni.

As per the report, 1,836 BTech and 52 MTech students were placed during the 2023 drive. Further, 100 PG (3-year) Medical, 85 BDS, 23 MDS, 164 MBA, 42 LLB, 87 BA LLB/ BBA LLB, and 67 LLM students were placed during the SOA University placements 2023. The median package offered to BTech and MTech students was INR 5.75 LPA and INR 4.80 LPA, respectively. For Medical and Dental courses, the median package ranged between INR 5.40 LPA and INR 10.80 LPA.
