Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, also known as CSMU, was established in 2018 as a private university in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The All India Council for Technical Education approves the university and is recognised by the Union Grants Commission, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). CSMU courses include UG, PG, PhD, and Diploma programmes in commerce & banking, management, engineering, education, information technology, pharmacy, hotel management, media & mass communication, etc. This private university has a long history of top rankings in India and throughout Asia. CSMU admissions are based on the CSMU Entrance Examination (CSMUEE) at the university campus. Candidates can be exempted from the entrance exam if they have a scorecard of the national level entrance exam such as JEE for B.Tech, CAT/MAT for MBA, NATA for B.Arch, etc. The university also offers several scholarships to its students based on academic records, family income, etc. CSMU Mumbai placement cell assists students and invites companies to its placement drive.
