With a vision to sell and provide professionalism within the area of media, the Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai (XIC) was established inside the year of 1969 by means of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of India. The Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai (XIC) is an independent mass communique college and a professional media centre that offers a lot of services in training and manufacturing in the area of media. The institute is at two locations; the St. Xavier’s College Campus and the St. Xavier’s High School Campus, Mumbai.

The university provides post-graduate diplomas in six branches. These branches are Advertising and Marketing Communication (AMC), Event Planning and Experiential Marketing (EPEM), Film, Television and Digital Video Production (FTDVP), Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC), Public Relations and Corporate Communication (PRCC) and Advanced Integrated Communication Programs (AICP). The XIC Mumbai was ranked No.1 most of the top 35 non-public mass conversation schools in India. The university has a strategic collaboration with Don Bosco International Media Academy (DBIMA) Paris.
