The Placement Cell in Chitkara University is chaired by Ms. Cavita Taragi, AVP, Office of External Affairs, Training and placement cell of Chitkara University, Solan. The Advisory Committee consists of several members and is the highest deciding body for the Placement Cell. The coordinator of that of the Placement Cell is the coordinating member.
The Working Committee consists of several members and functions as the second-highest deciding body regarding the placement campaign. The foremost task of this committee is to guide the day-to-day functions of the Placement cell.
The Placement cell at Chitkara University (CU), Solan, helps the students and companies conduct a smooth and seamless Placement drive. The Placement cell is dedicated to building a better future for its students. Therefore, the Placement cell always aims to achieve 100% Placement during interviews.
The Chitkara University (CU) Solan Placement cell trains the students to feel more confident during the interview process and helps them in training, skill development, personality development, and communication skills. One of the most prominent aims of starting the Placement cell and procedures at Chitkara University (CU), Solan, is to make candidates ready for the upcoming jobs they will get recruited for and give a much-needed morale boost their confidence. The Placement policy of Chitkara University is to give students personal and career-related support, with a particular focus on training students in employability skills and ultimately placing them in various industries/organizations through campus recruiting efforts.
Some of the main activities of the Placement Cell are:
- Companies are invited, i.e., called up through email by Chitkara University and maintain a complete data sheet enlisting all the recruitment details needed.
- Along with the invitation mail, a soft copy of the placement or recruitment brochure (Prospectus) is sent additionally by the Placement cell of Chitkara University (CU), Solan.
- The companies, organizations, and NGOs who want to take part in the placement drive are required to fill their response in a data sheet and send it by mail to the Placement cell of Chitkara University.
