IFTM University is a prestigious self-financed educational institution based in the city of Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1996 and granted University status by UP Government in the year 2010. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma level courses in various disciplines. IFTM University currently offers 50 courses in the disciplines of engineering, business management, pharmacy, biotechnology, microbiology, arts, sciences, law, education, journalism and mass communication. It also has a few courses recently added in the field of Agricultural Science and Technology.
IFTM University Moradabad sets distinct cutoff standards for admission, a process influenced by performance in notable entrance exams such as GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test), CMAT (Common Management Admission Test), and MAT (Management Aptitude Test). Facilities & Infrastructure
There are four hostels for boys within the University campus with a total capacity of 600 boys. Each room is equipped with cupboards, chairs, tables, bookshelves, free wi-fi internet connection, etc. Each hostel is provided with a common room where students can relax and watch television. A weekly laundry/linen service is also provided. The hostels are provided with 24-hour electricity and water (hot and cold) supply, purified drinking water, and mess service for food with utmost hygienic care. The campus canteen/cafeteria is also available during the University working hours. The hostel superintendents take care of the students in each hostel. The students get the benefit from other University amenities too.

The University provides adequate first aid medical facilities to the students and staff at its medical care Centre/dispensary on campus under a full-time medical officer. The University also provides ambulance service for the students and staff and takes utmost care in their emergent medical treatment in reputed city hospitals. A large number of students studying in the IFTM University campus utilize the Dispensary facility as and when required round the clock. An ambulance facility (24X7) is available.
The library is considered the heart of an institution. The Central Library is the hub of information services at the University. It serves as a creative and innovative partner in supporting teaching, learning, and research activities. With a fast-growing collection, both in digital and print format using state-of-the-art facilities, currently the Central Library has more than 90,000 books, over 2750 CD-ROMs, and a subscription of more than 163 National and International journals/magazines in print. The learning resources are upgraded regularly as per the requirements and the indent received from users. The library adopts an open shelf system that offers the freedom to students to visit, browse, read, and explore any document available on the shelves. Subscription of various local, regional, and national newspapers in Hindi and English is the key feature of the library. The Circulation activities are fully computerized with the help of Library Management Software, known as TLSS.
Sports kits and equipment are available for the outdoor games facilities like Cricket, Football, Tennis, Basket Ball, Badminton, etc. as well as for the indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess, etc. Additional facilities are also available for cultural activities which are arranged for the students from time to time. Some of the regular events are the inter-departmental football tournaments, cricket tournaments.
The university has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. Ultra-modern computer lab connected with high-speed LAN and having Computers with the latest configuration.
The university has a cafeteria “Maitri Jalpan Grah” a lively place providing a canteen and shopping facility within the campus for students and staff. It has been a wonderful journey for the university canteen. Prices are nominal, quality food is served, hygiene is maintained. Every effort is made to see that the food items remain untouched until the consumer picks them up for eating. The cafeteria becomes a piece of attraction for relaxation and for snacks. Snacks are provided through an arrangement with a renowned baker. Students and staff enjoy samosa, veg roll, veg puffs, bread-pakora, petite, and pastries along with in-house noodles and chat varieties like Tikki, Pani Puri. The canteen also stocks bottled drinks like Appy, Frooty, along with pre-packed snacks of a wide range of biscuits and chips. They have a wider variety of fresh fruit juices, milkshakes, and a breakfast menu.
The university has Two Auditoriums of 500 and 200 seating capacity with all ultra-modern facilities.
The university has a transport facility for students and staff.
The university has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff. The network backbone is designed with a dedicated Fiber Optics cable and the internal network is equipped with a Universal Threat Management system by GajShield. A dedicated 200 Mbps internet mainline supports the academic infrastructure round the clock and provides access to the resources on the Internet. The academic block is internally connected through Wi-Fi as well as wired LAN. The hostel is connected to the academic block through OFC. The hostel also has 24×7 network access through Wi-Fi. Both the academic block and the hostel area use secured Wi-Fi connectivity. The students and faculty of the university have direct access to internet services through a Wi-Fi, wireless network.
The University has three Nationalised banks along with its ATM facility on the campus namely, Punjab National Bank, Allahabad Bank, and Prathma Bank. All the Staff and students of the University can avail of various facilities of these banks as and when required.

Institute of Foreign Trade and Management (IFTM) has a placement cell that handles overall placement activities. IFTM University Placement Cell organises training programmes such as Mock Interviews, Group Meetings, Communication Ability Seminars and many more. During IFTM University placements 2022, 1407 students were placed.
IFTM University highest salary package stood at Rs 6.50 lakhs while Rs 1.88 lakhs is the IFTM average salary package offered to students. As per the NIRF 2023 report, UG students were placed with a median salary package of Rs 1,80,000. PG students were placed with IFTM Univerity median salary package of Rs Rs 2,59,100.
Placement Process
The university primarily contacts the different companies by mail and invites them to carry out IFTM University placements.
Recruiters participating in the IFTM University Placement Drive will accept the invitation and their participation will be confirmed.
Candidates who are interested in participating in the placement must register beforehand and send the documents needed for the IFTM placement process.
Pre-placement talks will be held for the students who are appearing in the IFTM University placement drive.
Students must apply for various written tests, personal interviews and HR interviews administered by recruiters to get shortlisted.
Finally, candidates are selected and offered jobs that qualify for all the selection procedures.
