Army Institute of Fashion and Design is one of India’s top-rated colleges for B.Sc, M.Sc. programs. The institute was established in 2004 and is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. As of now, the institute comprises a total of 1 specialization course Fashion Design while the number of seats available in the current scenario is 120. Additionally, the institute revolves around the Design studies stream and offers courses in Full-Time mode. Moreover, it also offers Degree programs, giving students a variety of credentials to choose from. AIFD Bangalore offers a four-year B.Sc degree in Fashion & Apparel Design and Interior Design & Decoration. Admissions at AIFD are done based on WAT (Written Admission Test).  Candidates who have completed their 10+2 under any stream, having scored a minimum 35% marks in the final examination are eligible to apply for the B.Sc. course at AIFD. Seats to the B.Sc. course will be allotted based on the candidates’ performance in a Written Admission Test (WAT) conducted by the college for undergraduate applicants.

AIFD charges INR 1000 as the registration fee. Admission applications will be updated on the Institute website during January / February 2024. A list of Exam centers for WAT Exam 2024 is available on the official website. Eligibility Criteria for ESSA Scholarships

• Serving Army personnel children not attained 25 years of age at the time of completion of class/course from class IX to PG level of education studying in Govt/Recognised Private Educational Institutions.
• Wards of Retired Army Personnel, Territorial Army personnel (TA) and deceased Army personnel are not eligible.

All children above cut-off percentages of marks would be awarded scholarships.

Army Institute of Fashion and Design (AIFD) facilitates placement opportunities to its students with the help of its Institute Advisory Committee. The committe comprises eminent personalities from the Fashion and Apparel Industry. AIFD has an excellent record of 100% placements. The highest CTC offered was Rs 4 LPA and Rs 2.8 LPA was the average CTC offered during AIFD placement drive.
