Founded in 1971, Chellammal Womens College is a distinguished institution located in the state of Chennai. Gym

The College has a gym with modern equipment is available on the campus is part of the Physical education department. The staff and students use it to keep themselves fit.

The College library is only semi digitized. On an average 100 students visit the library everyday & in a year about 400 books are issued to both teachers and students.

The college has several sports team. They are, Cricket, Football, Hockey, Basket, Ball Volley, BallHand, BallThrow Ball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Chess, Badminton, Ball Badminton, Athletics.
I.T Infrastructure

The College computers are used mostly outside the class hours. It is mostly used for accessing the N list journals subscribed by the college. Students can access the internet from the library. The student representatives of the library committee arrange the availability of the same.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Two Canteens with enough seating facility to serve the staff and the students.

The college has a spacious auditorium that has a capacity to accommodate 1200 people with good lighting, and an acoustic system.
