Established in 2012 is a private institute affiliated to RISU, Jaipur. The institute offers 4 UG courses, 2 PG courses, and 6 Diploma courses in the disciplines of Fashion and Interior Design. The flagship courses of the institute are the B.Sc program across 2 specializations and an M.Sc degree course in 2 specializations. Apart from that, ECD also runs Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Graduate Diploma, and B.Voc courses in Fashion Design as well as Interior Design. Admission to the courses offered by the institute will be done based on the candidate’s performance in the previous qualifying examination.

Ellen College of Design founded an Incubation Centre VIRASA, where students are mentored by the in-house faculty and industry experts and are provided with live project opportunities for budding designers. The college also has three clubs to nurture the individual as well as collective creativity of the students.

Ellen College of Design admission is provided on the basis of the eligibility criteria of the selected course. For example, students interested in getting admission to B.Des need to achieve 40% or more marks in Class 12 to get admission. Ellen College of Design grants direct admission to eligible candidates. Keep in mind that, the Ellen College of Design application fees is Rs 500 for all category students.

The scholarship will be awarded on first come first served basis. There are two types of scholarship offered by the Institute:

1. Merit-based: Scholarship is based on the student’s athletic, academic, and extracurricular activities, and performance in past qualification, interview and a creative test.

2. Need based: Scholarship is based on the student family’s financial record and performance in past qualification, interview and creative test.

Ellen College of Design placements 2023 report has been released by the college. The Ellen College of Design highest package was Rs. 14.40 LPA and the average package was Rs. 7.20 LPA for the academic year 2023–2024. Ellen College of Design students who have performed well academically can participate in the placement drive arranged by the college. The students of all the design and fashion courses also attend the internships before Ellen College of Design placements 2023.
