Index Medical College Hospital and Research Centre (IMCHRC), Indore offers courses in MBBS, and MD/MS in anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, community medicine, microbiology pharmacology, pathology, medicine, surgery, ENT, obs/gyne, orthopaedics, TB & chest, dermatology, ophthalmology, anaesthesia, psychiatry, paediatrics and radio-diagnosis. Since 2015, the college has been affiliated to Malwanchal University, Indore. To get an admission to  MBBS candidates have to appear for the NEET-UG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. They also need to register for the state level counselling conducted by the Department of Medical Education (DME). For admission to MD/MS and PhD, candidates have to appear for the NEET-PG entrance exam, conducted by National Testing Academy (NTA) and obtain a valid score. Candidates also have to register themselves for the state level NEET counselling.
The admission process for MBBS:
Medical aspirants have to appear for NEET UG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.
They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
DGHS will do the counselling for 15% All India Quota seats based on NEET UG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.
For the state-level counselling, candidates need to register with the state counselling authority body as the 85% seats will be allotted by the state counselling body.
Candidates need to select their preference while doing the choice feeling in the NEET UG counselling.
The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and reservation criteria.
Candidates who choose to accept the allotted college have to report to the institute for document verification and completion of other admission processes.
The admission process for M.D and M.S:
Candidates have to appear for NEET PG Entrance Examination and obtain a valid score.
They have to apply for centralised counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
MCC will do the counselling for 50% All India Quota, Deemed/Central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes based on NEET PG Score and list of shortlisted candidates will be displayed in DGHS website.
For the state-level counselling, candidates need to register with the state counselling authority body as the 50 % seats will be allotted by the state counselling body.
Candidates need to select their first preference in the NEET (PG) counselling.
The counselling authorities will allot the seat on the basis of NEET score, preferences of colleges and courses and the reservation criteria.
Candidates who choose to accept the allotted college have to report to the institute for document verification and completion of other admission processes.
