Indian Institute of Art & Design (IIAD) is a premier design institution established in 2015 in New Delhi. IIAD offers design programs in collaboration with Kingston University, London. IIAD offers undergraduate, postgraduate and certificate courses in the field of design. IIAD Delhi is approved by UGC. The design institute is accredited by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) and other prominent design education regulatory bodies such as IIID, CII, ADI, and IFFTI. IIAD conducts iDAT and iMAT entrance examinations to offer admission to the design aspirants. IIAD Delhi also offers lateral entry admissions to students who have completed at least one year of design degree or diploma from a recognized institute.

Indian Institute of Art and Design Courses and Fees

Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate, and certificate courses in the field of design. IIAD Delhi admission is based on the merit in iMAT/iDAT examination. IIAD offers 5 UG courses and 1 PG course. The undergraduate courses at IIAD Delhi are offered under five specializations.

• IIAD UG courses are available in the fields of Fashion Design, Communication Design, Fashion Business Management, and others.
• Admission to the undergraduate courses is based on merit in the iDAT examination held by the institute.
• IIAD also offers admission to the Fashion Business Management course at the PG level.
• The students have to clear the iMAT examination for admission to the Fashion Business Management course at IIAD.

IIAD offers admission to students in collaboration with Kingston School of Art, Kingston University, London. Candidates who aspire to get admission to IIAD for the design courses must have cleared the respective entrance examination i.e. iDAT/iMAT. After that, they need to appear for a Personal interview round conducted for the applicants of the Fashion Business Management course at the UG and PG levels.

Indian Institute of Art & Design Cutoff 2024

IIAD Design ranking by IIRF is 34 out of 40 colleges in India in 2024 and it was 37 out of 40 colleges in India in 2023.

IIAD Scholarships are offered to meritorious students of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The students can apply for the IIAD scholarship after meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria and filling out the application form. IIAD scholarships provide a percentage of tuition fee waiver to the beneficiaries. The applicants have to qualify for the iDAT/iMAT examination with a valid score in order to be eligible for the IIAD Delhi scholarship.

IIAD Delhi campus reflects the dynamic needs of 21st-century education. The 75,000-square-foot campus is purpose-built to suit the pedagogical practices and curriculum at IIAD. The campus has studio spaces, 3D material workshop, garment construction lab, photography lab, digital lab, knowledge resource centre, on-campus stationary and print shop, recreational spaces, and cafeteria.

IIAD Delhi has separate facilities for girls and boys. The hostels are conveniently located and equipped with all basic amenities. All the daily needs, such as shopping, entertainment, health, and medical requirements, are near the hostel.
