The Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition is a central autonomous body under the control of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The college is registered under Societies Registration Act and is affiliated with National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Noida. Earlier the college was named Food Craft Institute (Goa) in 1968 and then in 2002, it was named IHM Goa. The college was ranked eight by The Week 2021 under Hotel/Hospitality Management. The college offers UG, diploma, Craftmanship, and Hunar Se Rozgar courses to the students across Craft, Food Production, Food & Beverage, and various other streams.
