International Management Institute Bhubaneswar

IMI Bhubaneswar established is 2011, is one of the three IMIs established by the renowned Goenka Group. IMI Bhubaneswar was ranked 67th in the management category as per the NIRF Ranking 2023. It has also achieved the prestigious AMBA Accreditation, recognized by SAARC and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

Participants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent, from an institution recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) for admission to post-graduate programmes, in order to be considered for admission to the PGDM Program. After finishing higher secondary school under the 10+2 system or an equivalent, the candidate must have completed a minimum of three years of education to earn a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent certificate. The IMI Selection Index score, which is based on past academic performance in the 10th, 12th, and graduation years, as well as scores on the CAT, XAT, GMAT, and CMAT, written tests, essay writing, group discussions, extempore, and personal interviews, is used to choose applicants to the programme.

• Boys Hostel

  The college has a boys hostel with all the basic facilities like internet, medical services, 24*7 power and water supply etc. The boys hostel provides a comfortable stay to the students.

• Girls Hostel

  There is a separate hostel for girls students at the campus. IMI Bhubaneswar girl hostel has amenities like LAN connectivity, 24*7 water and electricity supply, gym, indoor sports etc. Round the clock security is also available at the girls hostel.

• Medical/Hospital

  To provide consolation and advice to students and faculty members, a doctor regularly visits the campus.

• Gym

  The air conditioned Fitness Centre has multiple equipments for various stretching, floor and body-building exercises which facilitate the participants to be physically and mentally fit. The tread mills, recumbent cycle, elliptical cycle, dumbbells and plates, weights, shoulder press, legpull, swift bike, leg extension, cross trainers, double twisters are few of them.

• Library

  The library is located in a spacious and centrally air conditioned building over 2 floors spread over 6000 sq. feet. The information centre aims to support the diverse information needs of all our students, faculty’s, researchers and staff’s through the provision of the ultra modern information resources and services.

• Sports

  Ample facilities for indoor and outdoor games and recreation activities are available inside the campus. Cricket, Basketball and Volleyball are very popular amongst the students. For those who prefer to stay indoors, Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, Pool and Foosball are a major hit.

• I.T Infrastructure

  The campus has a state-of-the-art computing facility. A network of more than 100 computers which are Wi–Fi enabled, ensure the mobile computing at all locations including hostel rooms, MDP, Amphitheatre library and canteen. The campus has a 210 mbps, 24 hours high–speed Internet connectivity.

• Cafeteria

  The campus has separate canteens to cater to the needs of students and MDP participants along with the staff and faculty members.

  In addition to that, the members of the entrepreneurship club operate a cooperative store named ‘First Right’ (governed and operated exclusively by the students), supplying basic necessities and food items like snacks and beverages.

  The college has a good networking for alumni association.

• Classrooms

  The institute has air conditioned classrooms. Four large sized classrooms of the college have a seating capacity of more than 72 students. IMI Bhubaneswar has five conference rooms each with a seating capacity of 25+ people.

• Laboratories

  The college has a communication lab to help students in improving their soft skills. Furthermore, an incubation centre is also there to promote start-up culture.

The placement drive concluded with 100% batch placed. Over 130 companies participated from diverse sectors. Further, the IMI Bhubaneswar average package stood at INR 12.02 LPA. The highest package and median package offered were INR 21 LPA and INR 12 LPA, respectively. BFSI and Fintech were the top recruiting sectors during IMI Bhubaneswar placements 2024.
