Step 1: IMI Delhi Application form
Candidates willing to apply to any courses from IMI Delhi must visit the IMI Delhi’s official website to apply. The application form is online and available on the official website of IMI Delhi. Candidates must go through the application form thoroughly and fill out the form.
Step 2: IMI Delhi Selection Process
IMI Delhi considers CAT/RAT/CMAT OR GMAT for the selection process for its PGDM programme. For the FPM course candidate will be shortlisted based on a research proposal and evaluation of past academic performance followed by a personal interview. Further, PGCFM selection is based on the evaluation of the academic qualification and work profile of the candidate followed by an interview. Finally, for the certificate course candidates must meet the eligibility criteria. Candidates who qualify for the PGDM selection process are invited for the final stage of the selection process – the Individual Assessments which is the Personal Interview.
Step 3: IMI Delhi Admission Offer
Admission offers will be based on the successful completion of the application and selection process. The result will be announced through an Admission Portal and will be notified on the IMI Delhi Website. Applicants are advised to check the updates on the website at regular intervals.
Step 4: IMI Delhi Fee payment
After completing the selection round the candidate will receive the selection result through mail. The candidates will be required to pay the first instalment of fee within two weeks of the date of the offer to confirm their seat in the Institution.
IMI Delhi expected cutoff 2024 for CAT will be 88-90 for PGDM and 85-88 for PGD-HRM and PGDM Banking and Financial Services courses for general category students. International Management Institute Scholarship Programmes helps candidates to study their desired course irrespective of the financial barriers. These programmes will encourage budding talents to study professional courses and make a bright future and career and in a way contribute to the development of the nation. With the support of the scholarship programmes, students will be able to take admission in the course they want to pursue and get some amount of the fee waived off from the total admission fees.
An initiative has been taken by IMI Delhi to provide 100% scholarship to students who will stand out in all academic aspects and fit in the eligibility line drawn for availing the scholarship. Financial background of the candidates will also be an important factor for 100% scholarship. IMI Delhi Scholarship will also depend on factors including the merits of the students, extracurricular activities and the category they belong to. These categories include SC/ST/OBC (NC)/Physically Challenged.
In general, there are three types of scholarship programmes available for the interested aspirants of International Management Institute New Delhi. The first is the Pre-Admission Scholarship and the other is the Post-Admission Scholarship and Summer Internship Scholarship. Details of these Scholarships programmes are given below. Students can read the details and figure out the one that suits them the best and can be achievable.
There are three types of Pre-Admission Scholarships that can be availed by the interested aspirants. But candidates need to understand that anyone out of the three can be availed and not all can be applied for by one candidate. It is also to be noted by the aspirants that 50% of the scholarship can be disbursed by the end of the first year and the rest 50% by the end of the second year. These three scholarships are as under:
Merit Scholarship:Â This scholarship is given to those candidates who have scored at least 75% in their entrance exams including CAT, XAT, GMAT and CMAT. Other than this the eligibility criteria include a first-class educational career in the past. The candidates fulfilling these criteria will be awarded a scholarship of up to 1 lakh by the institution.
Merit Scholarship for Women Candidates:Â All the women applicants of International Management Institute (IMI) can avail this scholarship if they have scored a minimum of 75% in their entrance exams along with a first-class educational track record. An additional 20% merit scholarship will be awarded to female candidates fulfilling the above criteria.
Defence Personnel:Â Candidates belonging to the Defense background or are wards of the Defense Personnel shall also be awarded a sum of 50,000 as scholarship.
The Summer Internship Scholarship is an initiative by the institution to encourage students to perform well and put in rigorous efforts in their Summer Internships tenure. This initiative has also been taken to draw an impact on students with the context to the importance of the summer internship and emphasize the need and seriousness of the internship for the students.
The Post-Admission Scholarship shall be awarded to the candidates who have done well throughout the academic session of the institution.
In order to avail the benefits and scholarship, the candidates must be an Indian citizen. The benefits and scholarships gained are non-transferable in nature. These cannot be redeemed for cash values. The funds of the scholarship shall be disbursed periodically throughout the programme. If in case students withdraw their candidature, the scholarship will then be cancelled.
IMI library has a collection of 25660 books on various study topics of economics, management, current affairs, commerce, behavioral sciences and many other topics of interest. It has subscribed to 6779 periodical titles and national/ international newspapers. Most Journals are available electronically through the Business Source Complete [EBSCO], SAGE, ScienceDirect, JSTOR, INFORMS, and Emerald databases.
IMI provides hostels accommodation to both boys and girls. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system etc.
