The Charge of the Placement Cell chairs the committee, with the Manager of Corporate Relations serving as a member secretary. In July, the placement committee is normally created.
Students in their final year who want to use the cell for placement assistance must first register. Those who do not require any type of placement assistance do not need to register. Payment of placement registration fees set by the Placement Cell on a regular basis is required to register for placement. For the benefit of students and potential recruiters, the Placement Cell prepares a Placement Brochure including information about students who are ready to be placed. After that, the brochure is distributed to potential employers. This leaflet includes a list of students who have applied for placement.
Students who do not pass the academic tests and other requirements at the end of the course will be removed from the placement process and will not be eligible for campus placement activities. Any serious disciplinary actions will result in the student’s removal from the campus placement programme. The Placement Cell, SPER, Jamia Hamdard’s PHARMAHIRE 2017 (Pharma Job Fair) held on April 21 (Friday), 2017 at the JHU Campus was a huge success. The Job Fair drew a record-breaking crowd of over 750 candidates, with 26 company partners, over 70 recruiting professionals, and record-breaking attendance. Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs, Intellectual Property Rights, Business Development, Market Research, Formulation development, Medical writing, QA/QC, sales, marketing, and pharmacy were among the 300 students shortlisted.
PHARMAHIRE, which was well-received by practically every company, evolved into a prospect-attracting event. Recruiters were pleased since it assisted them in obtaining suitable candidates.
