Sports activities are an integral part of KIIT’s curriculum. Sports activity in KIIT is facilitated by KIIT Stadium, 12 Sports Complexes with swimming pools and Indoor Stadiums distributed in different campuses. The stadium, which can seat 40,000 spectators, has facilities for Cricket, Hockey, Kabaddi, Football, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Throwball, Basketball, Rugby, Handball, Netball and Track & Field (400 m). The canteen at KIIT serves delicious multi-cuisine food including soft and hot drinks, snacks and ice creams. The university has a total of 15 food courts specialising in cuisines from different parts of the world. The food menu of KIIT University includes Odia, South Indian, Chinese and continental dishes.
The university has a Central Convention Centre Complex houses a world-class auditorium having a seating capacity of 1600. Various functions, programmes and conferences of the university are conducted in these auditoriums.

As per the latest report, the highest and average package offered so far during the KIIT placement 2023 stood at INR 63 LPA and INR 6.5 LPA, respectively. Further, over 350 recruiters participated in the placement process and presented 4,500 job offers to the eligible BTech students. So far, 90% of students have been placed. The top recruiters of KIIT University placements 2023 included Tata Power, Arcelor Mittal Nippon Steel, JSW Energy, JWIL Infra Limited, Stellantis, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, etc.
