Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College, Meerut was established in 1966. The college is named after Lala Lajpat Rai who was an eminent freedom fighter. The college is recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC). LLRM Medical College, Meerut is an affiliated college of Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. The college provides diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses. LLRM Medical College, Meerut courses cover an MBBS programme and a four-year B.Sc Nursing programme at the undergraduate level; MD, MS and PGD programmes in various domains at the postgraduate level; and the DM programme in Endocrinology at the doctoral level. The college also offers diploma programmes in various domains.

Admission

LLRM Medical College admission is open for various UG/ PG/ Diploma programmes. LMC Meerut is a constituent College of C.C.S. University, Meerut. It is one of the best medical college campuses in the state of Uttar Pradesh. LLRM Medical College comes in the list of top medical colleges in India. It was laid on 13th September 1963 by then the Hon’ble Chief Minister of U.P Late Shri Chandra Bhanu Gupta and later on, the college name was changed to  Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial College, One of the well-known freedom fighter of India. The college is located at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The first batch was comprised of 58 students, had taken admission in the undergraduate medical course in August 1966. Apart from this, It also has the facility of Hospital inside the campus for the public, which was started functioning since 30th January 1972 with a capacity of 1040 beds. The hospital building was inaugurated by the then  Hon’ble health minister of U.P, Sri Prem Chand Sharma. LLRM Medical College, [LMC] Meerut is affiliated with C.C.S (Chaudhary Charan Singh) University, Meerut. It is one of the best medical college campuses in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The Academic block of the college has a separate five-story building with all the modern facilities for the easy interface between the teachers and the students with a seating capacity of 150 students.
