The Maharishi University of Information Technology (MUIT) was established in 2001. The university is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and the Bar Council of India. The university provides Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral programmes in one of the widest disciplines, including Science, Commerce, Management, Humanities, Pharmacy, Engineering, Animation, Journalism & Mass Communication, Law, and Enrichment Courses. Scholarships

The college offers scholarships to students and also the college offers assistance to obtain government scholarships. Some of the MIUT scholarships are listed below. The University offers scholarships to the meritorious candidates based on her/his academic performance in the qualifying examination(s) prescribed by the University, viz., 10+2 or Graduation, Rank/Score in All India/State Level Entrance/ Aptitude Test and candidates possessing exemplary skills in sports, performing arts or literary skills.

• 100% Tuition Fee waiver to the toppers (1st Rank Holder) of all the Board/University.
• 50% Tuition Fee waiver as scholarship for students securing up to 5000th rank in the IIT/JEE Examination.
• 50% Tuition Fee waiver as scholarship for students securing up to 500th rank in the UPSEE Examination.
• 25% Tuition Fee waiver as scholarship for students securing 90% aggregate/PCM and above in class 12 or 80% marks in graduation.
• 25% Tuition Fee waiver as scholarship for students securing up to 5000th rank in AIEEE Examination or students scoring at least 60% tile in CAT or above 600 marks in MAT.
• 50% Tuition Fee waiver as scholarship for students having secured gold medal or silver medal at National level/State level in sports or have some exemplary achievements to their credit in the area of performing arts.

• In MOU with Payed, MUIT offers a facility to parents to pay University Fees of their wards on a MONTHLY INSTALMENT basis, while Payed will transfer term fees to the University.

Campus Facilities and Infrastructure

Maharishi University of Information Technology, Noida has a wide range of infrastructural facilities for students and faculty members. The university has separate facilities for boys and girls and MUIT Noida hostel facilities include common rooms that are fully equipped with televisions, indoor games and other recreational amenities. It has department-based fully air-conditioned laboratories and MUIT Noida lab facilities include wireless internet access and individual laptop computers. MUIT Noida sports facilities are a volleyball court, badminton court, lawn tennis court, cricket ground and football ground. Other MUIT Noida campus facilities are Wi-Fi facility, gymnasium, library, cafeteria, auditorium, moot court, classrooms and IT infrastructure.
