Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education & Training was established in 2001 and is approved by the Directorate General of Shipping, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training is a part of the MIT Group of Institutions and is affiliated with MIT ADT University, Pune. MANET Pune, through various departments, offers UG courses to students across the Marine Engineering and Nautical Science streams. The institute is Asia’s first private institute with a Ship-In-Campus for hands-on experience. MANET has received a CIP Grade (Very Good) rating from the INDIAN REGISTER OF SHIPPING (IRS).
