MATS University, Raipur run by Shri Bhagwan Mahavir Jain Education and Cultural Society, is a private university of Chhattisgarh state, established by the Government of Chhattisgarh in 2006. The university has two campuses – one is at the heart of the city, next to Pandri Bus Stand, Raipur while the main campus is spread across 100 acres of green lush land in Aarang in the outskirts of Raipur with a well-connected network of public transport. The university is recognized by UGC and approved by the Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission, AICTE, NCTE, BCI, and PCI. It is a member of AIU. The university is accredited by NAAC with a B++ Grade. MATS University offers several Diploma, Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral Programs through 14 schools or academic departments. Currently, it boasts 17,000+ strength of students pursuing UG and PG degrees under Regular and Distance Learning Programs.
