Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), established in the year 1958, is a premier medical institution located in Delhi. MAMC Delhi is affiliated with the University of Delhi, Delhi. MAMC has associated institutions like Lok Nayak Hospital (LNH), G B Pant Institute of PG Medical Education and Research (GIPMER), Guru Nanak Eye Center (GNEC) and Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (MAIDS).
The undergraduate course at MAMC Medical College consists of MBBS. On the other hand, the postgraduate courses at MAMC Delhi consist of MD, MS, PGD, and M.Sc. The PGD courses are available in three disciplines, namely Radiotherapy, Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, and Radiodiagnosis. Moreover, the MD and MS courses are offered in various disciplines including ENT, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, General Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Paediatrics, and others. To secure admission into the MBBS course at MAMC College, candidates are mandated to successfully clear the NEET UG examination. Likewise, for pursuing MD/MS and PGD programmes, candidates must pass the NEET PG examination. Similarly, candidates aspiring to enrol in doctoral programmes (DM and M.Ch) are required to clear the NEET SS examination.
