Mahatama Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly was established in 1975 and was given affiliated university’s status but in 1985, University got Affiliated-cum-residential University status. In the beginning, the University’s name was Rohilkhand University but in 1997, name changed to Mahatama Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University. The University campus spreads over 206 acre of Land. MJPRU is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Currently Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University offers undergraduate courses (B.A., B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Ed., B.Lib, B.El.Ed.,B.Tech, Hotel Management), postgraduate courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Ed., MBA, MCA, M.Pharma) and PG Diploma (PGDCA) etc to the students.
