Mount Carmel College Bangalore, also known as MCC Bangalore offers UG, PG, PG diploma and doctoral courses approved by UGC. The college is affiliated from Bangalore University and admissions are offered on the basis of merit and interview. The college has a central library comprises around a lakh books and journals. It has also subscribed to e-resources. Through Institutional membership 6000+ e-journals and 135000+ e-books can be accessed under the project entitled “National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content. Reprographic facility is available in the library. The e-library equipped with 40 PCs to access the internet and e-resources.
The college has main canteen which offers good wholesome food. Apart from main canteen several smaller food kiosks such as Chat Shop, Momo Hut, Nescafe stall, the ice cream kiosk, etc. are available all over the campus.
The college hostel is extended over 2 buildings named ” Mother Mary Hostel” with refectories, reading/TV rooms, gymnasium and Wi Fi facilities. The hostel has solar water heaters and effective solid waste management.
