NIT Durgapur cutoff 2024 will be released after each round of JoSAA counselling for admission to the BTech and Integrated BTech courses. NIT Durgapur JEE Main cutoff 2024 will be released in the form of opening and closing ranks for different categories under the AI Quota. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct 6 rounds of JEE Main Counselling in June. For NITs, two additional counselling rounds will be conducted by CSAB to fill the vacant seat. • The GATE COAP 2024 Round 1 Seat Allotment has been released for admission to MTech course and the last date to Accept & Freeze/ Retain & Wait/ Reject & Wait is May 15, 2024 (till 9 AM). Further, the GATE COAP 2024 Round 2 offer is expected to be released on May 20, 2024 (10 AM).
• NIT Durgapur JEE Main Cutoff 2023 – Round 1 and Last Round Cutoff Comparison

  The Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 10951 and 86705, among which B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation, followed by B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. As per the NIT Durgapur cutoff 2023, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering were 8875 and 10951, respectively for the General All India category candidates.During the NIT Durgapur cutoff 2022, the Round 1 and the Last Round closing ranks for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 7234 and 9490, showing a improving trend for 2023 for the B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering course for both Round 1 and the Last Round.     The library of NIT D is housed in a separate building having three floors with a collection of 1.2 lac volumes which includes text books, reference books & bound volumes of journals, standards etc. It has subscribed to about 180 current print journals and 800+ online journal. Library operations have been automated with the help of an integrated library software package, LIBSYS-4. The book database is accessible through OPAC. It has a good collection of Electronic resources in its Digital Library. It has some audio-visual equipment like Colour TVs, VCPs, video-camera, direct projectors, and Multimedia Projectors etc.It also facilitates wi-fi Internet and well-equipped with xerox facility.
  • Hostel

    Staying in hostels is mandatory for all undergraduate students of the Institute. There are seven hostels for boys,three of these halls have single-seated rooms for senior students and two hostels for girls to accommodate the admitted students. Each hostel has a separate mess managed under the supervision of wardens.All the hostels have their own volleyball & concrete Badminton courts with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis & Carom boards.

    NIT has a central play field named The Oval, where all major tournaments and matches are played also accommodates a standard athletic track. What’s new at NIT Durgapur placements 2023? The 2023 placement session concluded with 84.66% of the BTech batch placed. A total of 187 companies visited the campus offering 746 job offers to BTech students. The NIT Durgapur average package for BTech stood at INR 13.62 LPA and the highest package offered was INR 70 LPA. TCS, JP Morgan, Oracle, and many other renowned companies participated in NIT Durgapur placements 2023. Alongside, 139 MTech and MSW students were placed and the total number of offers made was 147. Further, the number of jobs offered during MBA and MSc placements in 2023 was 22 and 19, respectively.
