Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College, Mumbai was established in the year 1963 by Shri Nandikishore Singh Jairamji. The institute is also known as RJ College. The junior college was introduced in the year 1976 and the Commerce faculty commenced both at the Junior and Degree College level in the year 1981. Many self-financing courses like B.Sc. in C.S., BMS, B.B.I, I.T., Biotechnology, M.Sc. in Computer Science and Biotechnology, etc were added to RJ college from the year 1999-2000. R J college has been granted the autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC) and the University of Mumbai and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. R J College Mumbai Highlights

Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College (RJC), a NAAC-accredited college, came into existence in the year 1963. It is an Arts, Commerce and Science college affiliated to University of Mumbai. It offers degree courses at UG level and PG Diploma courses. The admissions to RJ College are done as per the norms of University of Mumbai.

Admission to the seats of UG courses is strictly done on the merit of 10+2 marks in qualifying examinations.

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria according to the admission norms of University of Mumbai in the course they are seeking admission into.
