Regional Institute of Education, also abbreviated as RIE, is one of the topmost institutes in the field of higher education in Madhya Pradesh as well as in India. The Regional Institute of Education has been a constituent unit of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).
The Regional Institute of Education offers many B.ED courses to pursue the students. Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for all the undergraduate courses of the Regional Institute of Education are BSC-B.ED, BA B.ED, and B.ED are mentioned below. The admission to the institute is based on the entrance of the RIE Common Entrance Examination (RIE CEE).
- For BA- BEd, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Arts/ Commerce/ Science streams from any recognized board with at least 50% marks (45% for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe) in aggregate.
- For BSc-BEd, candidates must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects from any recognized board with at least 50% (45% for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe) marks in aggregate.
- For BEd, the candidate must have at least 50 % in their B.A/ B.SC.

Candidates must have passed both theory and practical separately in B.ED/ BA-B.ED or B.SC-B.ED with at least 55% marks. The applicant during B.ED must have studied the Methodology of Teaching in Secondary School.

RIE Bhopal Admission Process
The candidates who want to apply for admission to the Regional Institute of Education must follow the below-mentioned steps for applying.
- Step 1: Firstly, the candidate must register themselves on the official website of the RTE CEE. By clicking on the registration link from the RTE CEE, the applicant must register themselves with a valid e-mail and mobile number and keep a protected safe password for further logging into the website.
- Step 2: The next step is to log in to the application form and fill-up the portal of the RTE CEE using the e-mail id and password.
- Step 3: After that, the candidate must enter all the basic details of the candidate such as the name of the candidate, Date of birth, Educational details of the 10TH/ 10+2/ Graduation, and the course selection to study in Regional Institute of Education.
- Step 4: The candidate has to pay the application fees for the RTE CEE examination.
