SNDT Women’s University, Juhu Campus Highlights 2024

SNDT Women’s University is the first women’s University in India as well as in South-East Asia. It was established in 1916 by Maharshi Dr Dhondo Keshav Karve. The University is approved by UGC and has ‘A’ Grade accreditation by NAAC.

The University has four campuses:

  • Churchgate Campus (main campus), Mumbai
  • Juhu Campus, Mumbai
  • Karve Road Campus, Pune
  • Shrivardhan Campus

SNDT Women’s University, Juhu Campus was established in 1964 by the Government of Maharashtra. It comprises 11 PG departments, namely Sir Vithaldas Thackersey College of Home Science (SVT), Usha Mittal Institute of Technology, Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, C U Shah College of Pharmacy, Centre for Distance Education, Centre for Special Education, Premila Vithaldas Polytechnic, and Law School. The campus offers PG courses, including MA, MSc, MEd, MEM, LLM, MCA, MPharm, and MTech.

SNDT Women’s University, Juhu Campus houses state-of-the-art infrastructure, including hostels for men and women, cafeteria, bank, ATM, healthcare facility, and a library. Some of the highlights of the University are mentioned below:
