Shri Guru Ram Rai University was established in 2017. It is the largest educational institution offering UG, PG and doctorate courses. SGRRU Ph.D. program selection Process:

The selection process comprises of an Entrance Test and interview.
The candidates seeking admission will be admitted through a common entrance test for each discipline, followed by an interview.
Both the entrance test and the interview shall be organized by the Academic Section in the Institute premises.
However, UGC JRF/NET/ is exempted from the Entrance Test and 50% seats will be filled from the candidates who will clear the written test.

Shri Guru Ram Rai University Scholarships and Funding

University offers a number of scholarships to students depending on the academic credentials and their achievements in sports, culture arena, and other extra-curricular activities.
The University grants full to partial waiver on tuition fees payable by the student.
What comes under Scholarship?
1. The scholarship will be awarded on Tuition Fee only.
2. Only those students who have cleared their examination in 2019-20 would be eligible for the scholarship.
3. A scholarship would not apply if there is a gap between academic sessions.
4. The academic performance of a student shall be the sole criteria for continuation of the scholarship.
Scholarships starting from the highest slab shall be granted based on the position in the merit list prepared School wise.

The University has more than 200 classrooms. All classrooms in SGRRU are well furnished, spacious; well- ventilated, and fortified with all modern facilities. More than 66% of classrooms are ICT-enabled which helps students to understand the concepts being taught with the help of audio-video teaching aids. Classrooms are designed to provide focused teaching and learning experiences. Apart from having adequate furniture, boards, and power backups, projectors are also an integral part of our classrooms.
