Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU) is spread over a 70-acre area in the Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh. SVU was established in the year 2010 by the Sri Bankey Bihari Educational & Welfare Trust in 2010 through UP Govt Act 26 of 2010. The University offers a wide array of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. Shri Venkateshwara University, Amroha provides admission to diploma undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses. For SVU Amroha admission, candidates are required to go through SVU admissions. Apart from these, the candidates can get admission to SVU Amroha courses based on the other national level entrance exams such as JEE Mains/NEET/GATE/UPCET. Shri Venkateshwara University, Amroha has a separate placement cell to offer career opportunities for the final-year students based on their academics. SVU Amroha placement cell has a special process-driven placement system that has been used to make recruitment as simple as possible for the students. According to the NIRF data 2023 provided, the total number of students placed in the SVU Amroha placement drive for UG 4 year course of academic year 2021-22 is 213 out of 434 students. Similarly, for the UG 5 year course of academic year 2021-22, 4 out of 31 students and for the PG 2 year course of academic year 2021-22, 518 out of 2363 have been placed in various companies.

Placement Process

• SVU Amroha placement team is in continuous follow-up with companies ahead of the placement schedule.

• We send a formal invitation to the companies for the campus placement/internship program.

• Then the companies provide us with the necessary data through a Job announcement form.

• We agree on a time and date for the presentation and selection process that works for both parties.

• We announce the visit along with the details provided by the company in the announcement form to the students.

• SVU Amroha placement team asks eligible students who are interested in the job to apply for the job.

• We provide essential details of applicants to the company.

• The company re-confirms the travel plan a week before the allocated visit date.

• We announce the list of selected candidates once the company finalises it.

• Students sign the offer letter and a copy is forwarded to the company.
