The St Albert’s College is a renowned educational Autonomous College fully affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and located in Ernakulam city of the state of Kerala. It was founded by Dr. Joseph Attippetty who was the first Indian Archbishop hailing from the Archdiocese of Verapoly. Originally this college was started in 1892 by Dr. Leonardo Mellano as St Albert’s High School. It was upgraded in 1946 to Second Grade College and in the formative years got due recognition as St Albert’s College. After achieving several significant milestones, the St Albert’s College which has century-old history is today known for housing the biggest IGNOU center as well in South India.
