The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda

Established in 1881, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is an open university, which was initially known as Baroda College. Founded by Maharaja Pratap Singh Rao Gaekwad, it was granted the status of a university in 1949. The main building, Faculty of Arts is designed in the Indo-Saracenic style by the famous architect, Robert Fellowes Chisholm. The university began its first class with Arts and Science Departments.

However, as per the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda NIRF report 2022, a total of 10 B.Pharm and 38 M.Pharm students were placed during the placement drive of 2020-21. The median package offered to B.Pharm Students was INR 1.86 LPA, while the median package for M.Pharm students stood at INR 3.20 LPA.
