The PSIT College Of Higher Education

PSIT Kanpur was established in 2004 and has one sister institute which is PSIT College of Higher Education. PSIT Kanpur is a private institute affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. PSIT College Kanpur is approved by the AICTE, UGC, PCI, and Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. The college is ranked 36 by The Times 2022 for BTech. PSIT College, through various departments, offers UG, PG, and diploma courses to students across the Management, Engineering, and several other streams. Scholarships are offered to SC/ST category students as per the government policy (SAMAJ KALYAN Department). Four UG courses are accredited by NBA.

• Boys Hostel

  The College has provided full boarding and lodging facilities to its students on the campus. The management provides Air Conditioned and Non-Air Conditioned type accommodation for the Boy’s Hostel.

• Girls Hostel

  The College has provided full boarding and lodging facilities to its students on the campus. The management provides Air Conditioned and Non-Air Conditioned type accommodation for the Girl’s Hostel.

• Medical/Hospital

  The College has a 24×7 on-campus medical center. The medical center provides quality health care, manned by a qualified M.B.B.S doctor, health care assistant, and nurses. The Institute has an ambulance van available 24 hours on all days.

• Gym

  The college has a Gym facility for the students.

• Library

  The College has a library that is equipped with all modern amenities. The library has been rendering essential support to the academic, research, and developmental programs of the Institute. The digital library endows access to national journals, international journals, many magazines newspapers, and CD-ROMs. There are spacious reading halls and reference sections.

• Sports

  The College has a sports area that includes a Basketball court, Football ground, Badminton court, Gymnasium, Indoor games such as Table-Tennis, Carrom, Pool, etc. A cricket practice pitch with boundary nets, halogen lights, etc.

• Auditorium

  The College has owned centrally air-conditioned multi-purpose auditoriums. – PSIT Central auditorium with a seating capacity of 1300. – Another fully air-conditioned Auditorium has a seating capacity of 250. – A third Auditoria has a seating capacity of 200. – The Central hall is a perfect venue for annual, cultural & technical fests and events of the college.

• Transport Facility

  The College has transportation on the sprawling campus is provided by the use of Club Cars keeping in mind the eco-friendly vision of the management. The transportation facility linking the institution with every corner of the city comprises a fleet of 25 Air Conditioned Buses.

• Banks/ATMs

  The College has a STATE BANK OF INDIA – PSIT CAMPUS Branch, KANPUR is a banking facility with SBI ATM and Syndicate Bank ATM facility in the College Campus itself.

• Cafeteria

  The College has a Clean, hygienic college canteen, coffee lounge, and mess area at PSIT is a perfect place for good food packed with mouth-watering flavors. Recreational facilities include a TV, a daily needs mart, and Coffee Vending Machines.

  The College is reckoned as “UP’s first wireless campus with Fibre-Optics/LAN cable backbone structure”. In this high-tech campus, each student is provided with a smart card/e-wallet for access to an online student portal. – PSIT campus is interconnected through a highly secured PSIT’s Virtual Private Network, where over 1500 nodes are connected to the internet through DS3 (44.73 Mbps) Leased Lines while 10 Hi-End servers power the PSIT network.

PSIT Kanpur is conducting its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2023. So far, the highest package offered during placements 2023 was INR 50 LPA to BTech students and was made by Paloalto Networks. A total of 2,373 job offers were made and 121% placement rate was recorded during PSIT Kanpur placements 2023. Further, more than 200 companies were visited during placements 2023. The popular recruiters of PSIT Kanpur in 2023 were Atlassian, TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Tech Mahindra, etc.
