Vinayaka Missions University, also known as the Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (VMRF), is a NAAC accredited deemed to be university under section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956 located in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The university was established in 1981 by philanthropist Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram as “Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS) Medical Educational and Charitable Trust”. A vibrant university with a multi-cultural experience, it got its “deemed to be” status in 2001. With the motto of “Vision, Wisdom, Unity”, the university aims to spread education globally in the fields of Medicine, Dentistry, Paramedical, Homeopathy, Engineering, Management, and Basic Science.

The university boasts more than 15,000 students in courses of M.B.B.S., M.D., M.S., PG Diploma, B.D.S., M.D.S., B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, M.B.A., M.Com, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, B.P.T., M.P.T., and many more.
