Candidate should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero score in CET.

VIT Pune Admission Process

VIT Pune admissions are offered to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral-level courses. Vishwakarma Institute of Technology admission to undergraduate courses is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the MHT-CET/JEE Main. For VIT Pune M.Tech and MCA admissions, candidates’ score in GATE and MAH MCA CET is taken into consideration, respectively.

For Ph.D course candidates need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune, which is followed by a round of interviews. The first round of selection of VIT Pune admissions at UG and PG levels is followed by a round of state-level counselling as well.

VIT Pune Application Process 2024

Candidates must visit the official website of VIT Pune.
Candidates have to register themselves on the official admissions portal.
Candidates will use their registered ID and password to login into their portal.
After logging in, they will have to fill out the online application form by filling in all the correct details.
Candidates will have to upload the scanned copies of all the required documents.
Before submitting, candidates pay the VIT Pune application fees.
Submit the form.

VIT Pune UG Admission 2024

Only one UG course is offered at the institute i.e. B.Tech, and it is offered across a total of nine specialisations. The duration of all the undergraduate programmes is four years.

VIT Pune B.Tech Admissions

Candidates seeking admission must first meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible candidates must apply for admission by filling the online application form.
Applicants need to appear for the MHT-CET/JEE Main.
Maharashtra candidates need to appear for MHT-CET and all India candidates are required to sit for the JEE Main.
Next Merit list for JEE Main and MHT CET is released.
Candidates then need to register and participate in CAP conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
Next, candidates are required to fill the college and course choice in order of their preference.
Seats are allotted to candidates based on their entrance exam scores and choices filled by them.
Next, they need to visit the institute and complete the VIT Pune admission process by submitting the documents and paying the course fee.

VIT Pune PG Admission 2024

At the PG level, the institute offers M.Tech and MCA courses. VIT Pune M.Tech course is offered across five specialisations. The courses are offered for two years.

VIT Pune M.Tech Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission must meet the VIT Pune eligibility criteria and apply for admission by filling the online application form.
The eligible candidates need to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) entrance exam.
Next, the GATE cutoff is released.
Candidates who clear the cut-off need to register for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
Candidates need to fill the college and course of their choice in preference order.
Based on choice filled and the marks of students in GATE exam, merit list is released.
The merit list contains students’ scores, courses and college allotted to them.
Candidates who are allotted VIT Pune need to visit the campus.
The last step in the VIT Pune admission process is submission of documents and payment of course fee.

VIT Pune MCA Admission Process

Candidates seeking admission must meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible candidates must appear for MAH MCA CET.
A cut-off list is released by the college.
After that, the selected candidates must register themselves and appear for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by State CET Cell.
Admissions will be offered to candidates through the Centralised Admission Process based on rank obtained in MAH MCA CET.
After the final selection, candidates must visit the college for verification of documents and payment of VIT Pune fees.

VIT Pune Doctoral Admission 2024

Doctoral courses at VIT Pune are offered across six specialisations. These courses are offered for a duration of six years.

VIT Pune offers a variety of facilities and infrastructure to its students. VIT Pune facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, a modern gymnasium, indoor and outdoor game facilities for the physical and mental well-being of the students. Boys Hostel

The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel has all the modern infrastructure and facilities for the students. The hostel provides good accommodation to the boys. The hostel has a common room with television so that the students can remain connected to the world. The hostel also has CCTV coverage and 24*7 security facilities for the benefit of the students.
Girls Hostel

VIT Pune offers girls hostel to outstation girls. For the students, the hostel has all of the necessary infrastructure and amenities. The hostel features a common room with a television for students to stay connected to the outside world. For the comfort of the students, the hostel also includes CCTV surveillance and security guard available 24*7.
Medical/Hospital

VIT Pune has a medical room with the facility of a doctor on call. The institute has also tied up with a private hospital in the vicinity to admit teachers and students requiring emergency treatment.

The campus has a modern gymnasium with all the necessary equipment for fitness freak students.
Library

The campus has a well-equipped library with a vast collection of books, encyclopedias, e-books, magazines, national and international journals. The SLIM 21 programme is used in the Bajrangdas Lohiya Central Library. Acquisitions, Cataloging, Circulation, Serial Control, Article Indexing, and WEB OPAC are some of the modules included in this package. Books are circulated using a Bar-Code method.

The college has a sports ground where a variety of outdoor sports like Volleyball, Football, Cricket are played. Indoor games room is also available in the campus where a variety of sports like Carrom, Table Tennis and Chess are played by the students.
