Step 4: CSAS Counselling Process
The Vivekananda College admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:
Step 4.1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases. Submit Vivekananda College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.
Step 4.2: The University releases the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists for all categories. Select “freeze“ to confirm the admission choice. Once they select this option, they will not be considered for “upgradation” of choice in further rounds of CSAS. Candidates must only select this option only if they are satisfied with the allocated seat.
Step 4.3: Once the candidate “Accept” the provisionally allocated seat, the Vivekananda College will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. Vivekananda College has an option to ‘Accept’ or ‘Reject’ the admission of the student basis the verification.

The Government of NCT of Delhi awards scholarships to students belonging to the reserved category and economically weaker families and low-income groups.
Situated in Vivek Vihar, Vivekananda College campus is spread over a vast area of 10 acres out of which more than 50% is open space for sports facilities and garden area. Vivekananda College, University of Delhi consists of 35 classrooms, two specialized laboratories, 12 tutorial rooms, three computer centres with state-of-art facilities and high-speed internet connectivity, auditorium, conference room, seminar room and a fully automated library. The Vivekananda College campus is fully wi-fi enabled and is the first University of Delhi affiliated college to include a 200 metres synthetic track for athletics. The college recently inducted a new academic block where teaching has begun according to the latest reports.
Vivekananda College offers various facilities in the form of:
Library: The Vivekananda College library is fully computerised and is well stocked with over 50,000 books related to Commerce and Humanities. It also has annual subscriptions to 10 newspapers and 60+ periodicals in both Hindi and English languages. The library is equipped with UGC Infonet services (J-STOR), OPAC facility and high-speed internet. The “Book Bank” consists of core textbooks which is accessible to the meritorious students of the college. The “Book Bank” issues textbooks to the eligible students for a whole year without any extra charge. There is a collection of atlases, maps, audio-cassettes and compact disks available in audio-visual format. The library has a comfortable and spacious reading room and can accommodate 140 individuals at a time. The Vivekananda College library is a two-storeyed building.
Computer Lab: Vivekananda College computer labs are equipped with state-of-art facilities such as scanners, LCD projectors, internet connectivity for both the students and teachers. There are three computer labs present in the Vivekananda College campus.
Laboratories: Vivekananda College has a Psychology laboratory and a Food Technology Laboratory where the students can perform various experiments. The Food Technology laboratory specializes the students in the preservation of foods and bakery. Several new low-cost food products are the brainchild of Vivekananda College Food Technology department. The institute’s proposal of constructing another psychology laboratory is all likely to receive affirmation from the concerned authorities. Intelligence tests, personality tests, aptitude tests etc. are the list of psychological tests conducted in the te psychology laboratory.
Sports & Extracurricular: Vivekananda College has a very big playground for sports and several other extracurricular activities. The students receive training from experts and as a result, the college sports team is always present in the top bracket of various tournaments and sports meet. Currently, the college provides adequate facilities for hockey, athletics, volleyball, table tennis, kabaddi and cross country. Keeping in mind the requirement for athletics, the college received a new 200 metres synthetic track sanctioned by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. The synthetic track is one of its kind among all the other University of Delhi Colleges.
Medical Facilities: The college has a medical room within the campus which is responsible to look after the basic health care facilities of the students and faculty members. The allopathic doctor is available four times a week for three hours each while the homoeopathic doctor can be consulted twice a week.
Auditorium: The Vivekananda Auditorium is used for hosting various cultural and academic events of the college. Recognised cultural groups are also allowed by the concerned authorities to hold their programmes. The auditorium has all the basic facilities like sound and light system etc. The fully air-conditioned Vivekananda Auditorium can accommodate 700 persons at a time.
Sharda Hall: With a seating capacity of 150 persons, the Sharda Hall is extensively used for lectures, seminars, talks by external professionals and film screening by the Vivekananda College Film Society. The seminar hall is fully air-conditioned and consists of an LCD projector serving the purposes.

The Department for the Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minorities provides hostel facility for boys and girls studying in the post metric or higher classes in government institutions at the Sanskar Ashram Complex, Dilshad Garden, Delhi-93.
One of the popular women’s colleges in New Delhi, Vivekananda College was established by the Government of NCT Delhi in 1970 at the knowledge hub of Vivek Vihar in East Delhi. Its primary goal was to provide students in nearby communities including North East Delhi, Gautam Buddha Nagar, and the Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh with access to higher education. The college had just 300 students when it first started. Today, Vivekananda College offers undergraduate courses to nearly 2000 students.
