The Institute has a well-equipped gymkhana on the third floor. It has adequate facilities for various indoor games such as table tennis, carom and chess. Besides this, facilities are available for outdoor sports too. cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, and badminton are some of the sports that are played on the vast open ground available within the campus. A more elaborate gymkhana will soon be constructed on the terrace with a variety of games and exercise machines.
The Campus has a state-of-the-art, air-conditioned computer laboratory with all the latest software. There are a total of adequate number of computers with TFT [LCD] monitors. It offers a Local Area Network, with two servers and Printers. The operating systems supported are Windows XP, and Linux – Red Hat. A 24-hour Internet facility with 4 Mbps bandwidth is also available for use by students and staff.
The Institute has a spacious, clean, well-lit, and aerated canteen serving tasty and hygienic food & snacks. Quality meals are provided at reasonable rates. The Canteen is also the hub of student activity and many a time students are seen discussing their projects over a cup of tea and snacks. It also has an open-air food court for students to relax and interact.
There is a spacious and well-equipped auditorium inside the campus. The auditorium is used to conduct various events, workshops, conferences, functions and many other things. All the main events take place in the auditorium.
The College Alumni Association provides a forum for the students to maintain and spread their links with the Institute. It provides numerous services to current students and alumni alike. All graduate students do not become members of the Alumni Association. Membership of the Alumni Association can be obtained by registering at the Institute. The Association is involved in the following activities: Alumni reunions, Networking with industry, Association mailings, Interacting with other Jesuit Alumni, Special projects, etc. In general, the Alumni Association provides many opportunities in which the alumni can participate, such as promoting programs, assisting future students with difficulties, etc. By being involved with the Institute (Alumni Association) you are not only helping yourself but also helping current and future students thereby making the world a better place to live in. We are looking for our ex-students to come forward and start the process of making this Alumni Association a strong one so that the bonds of the students get stronger and promote the understanding between the students of the past and present.
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Mechanics Lab, Basic Electrical and Electronics Lab, Communication Skills Workshop, Electronic Devices, And Circuits Lab, Communication Lab, Microprocessor and DB Lab, Mechanics Laboratory is equipped with modern systems supporting a broad spectrum of experiments that are designed to provide a fundamental basis for the underlying engineering course. Some of the equipment available are Compound Pendulum, Simply Supported Beam, Link chain apparatus, Inclined Plane, Bell Crank Lever, Simple Jib Crane, etc. All these help to promote conceptual learning of the subject to students. To impart the best training to engineering students, every department in the Institute has its own self-sufficient Laboratories. The laboratories on Campus have high safety standards and are designed and well-equipped.
XIE Mumbai has a gym with a wide collection of equipment and exercise machines. There is also a trainer provided in the gym to help students to maintain their physical fitness as well as mental fitness.
There is a separate area for parking vehicles at Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mumbai. Students can use the area to park their vehicles like bikes, scooters and cars.
